I am not claiming authorship of any software included in this list. By sharing files of some of the described software I'm doing so according to that software's licence. I am merely making mirrors of some of the existing software to archive it for the future. If you are the author of any software listed on this page and you want it off here, please contact me.

Here I'll share information on the software that I use for my projects, and for some of them, I'll host a direct mirror of their installation files.

Note that all the software I use is compatible with Windows XP SP3 32-bit. I'm not using Windows XP right now, though, because I do not have suitable hardware, but:
1. I plan to acquire it in the future;
2. I tested all of the software on a VM, and it definitely works - and with all the apps being 32-bit, you can almost say I'm using Windows XP and not Windows 10.

Idk I'm just a huge XP fan, deal with it.

Pure Data

Pure Data is a visual programming language, and also a development environment for it. It is my main tool in the process of music making. Specifically, I'm using...

SHLAM-MASHYNA - my own Pure Data patch I made from scratch. It is a machine for cutting and manipulating audio samples, specifically drum breaks. I wrote a whole article about it, and the patch itself is free to use and modify, so please, check it out!

You can download Pure Data from the official sources. I also mirror it on my website, download it here, though it may not be the latest version.

Ableton Live 9

Ableton Live 9 32-bit. This specific version is the latest official release that supports Windows XP according to the official Live website, so naturally, I'm using exactly it.

For it to work out of the box, you'll need additional software/libraries:

vcredist_x86 - Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable. It is required for installation of aforementioned version of Live. I will not host a mirror of the binary file as I cannot do that according to MS's licence. You can download it off Microsoft official sources, just look it up.

QuickTime 7 7.79.80.95 - I don't exactly remember what you'll need it for, but Ableton gives some kind of error if you don't have it installed. I'm using this specific version of QuickTime. Apple discontinued QuickTime in 2016 and the latest release was for Windows 7, so I'm not sure if I can share the installer here. So I won't.

You may also want to install:

Plugins - I'm using mainly Valhalla Supermassive for reverbs and TDR Nova for EQ, though lately, I'm adjusting to using only Ableton's default plugins, as they are honestly really great.
A few more plugins I can recommend are: TDR Molotok as a classic compressor, OTT as a multiband compressor, Rave Generator for a variety of classsic samples, and Surge XT for it is a brilliant synth.
You can find all those plugins on the Internet.

ASIO4ALL 2.14 - ASIO driver. I'm using it just because. Official website. Download from my mirror here.

scroll.exe - my AutoHotKey v1 script I wrote to make using Ableton more comfortable. It adds the functionality to use Ctrl +/- to zoom in/out the timeline. It also improves something else but I forgor what, as recently I adjusted to using Live as-is. Sadly, I do not have the source code for it as I did not save it, only the compiled .exe file. Download here.

UTAU

UTAU 0.4.18 - I toyed with UTAU for a few tracks and it was an awesome experience. You can download it from UTAU's official website. From what I could understand using Google Translate, the author prohibits the redistribution.

Kasane Teto Voicebank for UTAU - Teto is my digital dawg, Miku fans BTFO. Apparently, you can freely use Teto's voicebank, but direct redistribution is prohibited, so I'll just leave a link to the official Kasane Teto website.

picedit215 - UTAU plugin for pitchbending. I didn't use it much, but it can be extremely useful. Download from the developer's website.

autoCVVC2.002 - UTAU plugin for converting CV to VCV. Honestly don't know what that means and I don't remember using it, but from what I read on forums - it is a pretty huge deal, so I will at least archive the link to the developer's website.

MISC

Audacity 2.0.6 - audio editing software. I wouldn't believe if you told me you've never heard of Audacity. It is probably THE best audio recording and editing software there is. You probably even have it installed on your machine already, but if you don't, you can download it from Audacity official website or my mirror.

LAME library for Audacity - enables .mp3 files exporting in Audacity 2.0.6. I got this library from dll-files.com. You can also download it from my mirror.

ffmpeg 2.2.2 for Audacity 2.0.6 - enables suppport of various audio formats. Instructions on installing it are on Audacity's website. You can download this specific version from my website as installer or extracted libraries, and I downloaded them from this archive.org page.

mp3tag - Software for tagging mp3 files, such as adding album covers, titles and other metadata. Extremely useful. Direct redistribution is prohibited, so download from the developer's website.

SubtitleEdit - I made subtitles a few times and it was an interesting experience. I used this particular application for it and I can say it is pretty convenient to use. Download it from the official website.

OpenShot - FOSS video editor that I use for simple video manipulations. Download it from the official website.

avidemux - I used this video editor for the sole purpose of datamoshing, as seen in моджо video. Download it from the official website.

Akaizer - I didn't use it much as it didn't suit my workflow, but it is a really great utility for making cool AKAI-like warp effects.
Is a donationware, so consider supporting the author if you find it helpful. Link to the developer's website.

loopMIDI - an application for creating virtual MIDI interfaces. Was extremely helpful when I worked with MIDI in Pure Data. Redistribution is prohibited, so here's the link to the developer's website.

SHOUTOUT

to Tracktion Waveform - a very decent DAW that I used in the very beginning of my endeavors. I just feel like giving it a shoutout because of how helpful it was for me at the time. Really, really great stuff, as it had all the needed functionality, even in the free version which I used. And the paid version is dirt cheap btw.
